Application 1. Nitrogen Generating

Airrane Co., Ltd.’s membrane module for nitrogen generation is installed in nitrogen generator so that it helps to generate dry nitrogen from compressed air.
These nitrogen generators consist of regulator, pressure gauge, needle valve, so they do not need unnecessary devices and they are inexpensive.

Application 2. Oxygen generation

Airrane Co., Ltd.’s oxygen generating modules are designed to have oxygen purity of 30%.
Oxygen generators generate oxygen with compressed air using head compressor or vacuum pump.
They have merits on the efficiency and the price, so it is possible to apply to various processes and systems.

Application 3. Dehumidifying Module

압Dehumidification of compressed air is done by principle of selective penetration of membrane. Water vapor passes through hollow fiber membrane of several bundles which removes water vapor when the air with water vapor flows out from inside the hollow fiber, and dry air can be collected outside. Part of dry air outside of the hollow fiber membrane is injected inside to prevent condensation of vapor and decline of efficiency.

Application 4. Purification of Methane

A number of gas elements are generated from food waste and livestock excretions, but as most of them are methane and carbon dioxide, they can be supplied to long distance after separation process, and the gas can be used for power generation, furnace, business fuel, vehicles, city gas, etc. Membrane separation process, one of the processes for separation of bio-methane, uses separation membrane to selectively flow specific substances through and separate gas, which uses polymer membrane is commonly used for removal of carbon dioxide in biogas. Airrane Co., Ltd. is developing membrane module and process using hollow fiber which can purify bio-methane to high purity.

Application 5. Injection of CO2 (CO2 Bubbler)

CO2 Bubbler injects carbon dioxide into ultrapure water to prevent static electricity during production process of semiconductor and LCD panels which are sensitive to static electricity. After connecting the CO2 bubbler to the ultrapure water line and regulator to the carbon dioxide can, minimum quantity of the carbon acid gas is dissolved in the ultrapure water line and resistivity is controlled, which adjusts the quantity of carbon acid gas to control resistivity of ultrapure water.

Application 6. Collection of SF6

절연용 가스로 널리 사용되고 있지만 지구 기상 변화에 커다란 영향을 끼치는 대표적인 온실가스인 SF6의 Membrane is used for purification and collection of SF6, one of the representative greenhouse gases which is affects a lot to the change of global climate while it is widely used as insulation gas. Processing technology for low density SF6 unifies and connects processing stages in semiconductor and display industry: after etching and cleaning SF6, preconditioning, absorption and enrichment by membrane of low concentration gas (0.5% or lower); and purification/concentration to make enriched gas into high concentration gas (95% or higher).

Application 7. Reuse of Hydrofluoric Waste Fluid

Hydrofluoric waste fluid, Class 1 hazardous substance out of processing process in electronic components, semiconductor and primary metal manufacture, is reused after separating hydrofluoric acid, sulfuric acid, and water by applying membrane system.
